Our Addiction Recovery Program
IAR offers an integrative, holistic way forward for those seeking help with drug and alcohol addiction, other forms of addiction, mental health disorders and compassion fatigue issues.
An Integrative Approach
Our integrative, holistic approach to addiction recovery and co-occurring mental health incorporates mind, body and spirit treatment programs. The key to a holistic approach is that it treats the whole (‘holism’) person rather than an element of an individual, symptoms or behaviors. Every aspect of your being is effected and damaged by addiction and unless you address every aspect, statistics say there is a very good chance you will return to the same behavior patterns. Therefore, the best success for addiction recovery you will find is in healing each component of your whole being together.

We Are Here to Help Facilitate Your Healing Process
The imbalances which were already in place in order for your addiction to have grown and thrived, need to be realigned and brought back into balance for you to achieve success and recovery. Some imbalances and disorders may start with the body or mind after trauma, or some may have pre-determined genetic components. Either way, self-medication is not the solution to alcoholism or other substance abuse problems.
Recent scientific studies show that the integration of holistic alternative, complementary medicine along with traditional approaches and a professional treatment plan can be highly effective well beyond the initial recovery phase, and demonstrate dramatically improved success rates.
Ongoing Support
IAR programs are designed not only to facilitate the start of the journey in addiction recovery, but also to provide ongoing support and the necessary tools for long term success. IAR programs provide clients with daily lifestyle strategies, as well as opportunities to practice those new skills, habits and perspectives in the new life you are transitioning towards.
Many working professionals see taking time off as an obstacle to treatment, and consequently, they don’t get the help they need because they feel responsible for the workload and family lives they leave behind. While our integrative, multi-modality programs do require weekly time commitments, all programs are tailored for those with busy schedules to ensure no interruption to your work or family life schedule.
IAR Comprehensive Integrative Treatment Programs
IAR treatment programs offer a variety of therapies, tools and strategies to help each individual find the best path for healing and success. We are located in downtown Westborough- the Metro West region of Massachusetts, and are proud to be among the clinics in Massachusetts offering an outpatient, multi-modality, integrative approach to addiction recovery. Our programs are flexible, integrating health and wellness into traditional proven, evidence-based and effective treatments.
Our philosophy is that we are not just a clinic which treats a disease or symptoms. We are a team of compassionate and highly trained professionals offering programs to people who need help navigating their future.
Your Call Is Confidential
SAMHSA has developed this working definition of recovery to help policy makers, providers, funders, peers/consumers, and others design, measure, and reimburse for integrated and holistic services and supports to more effectively meet the individualized needs of those served:
‘Recovery is holistic: Recovery encompasses an individual’s whole life, including mind, body, spirit, and community. This includes addressing: self-care practices, family, clinical treatment for mental disorders and substance use disorders, complementary and alternative services, faith, spirituality, creativity, social networks and community participation. The array of services and supports available should be integrated and coordinated.’
