Addiction Treatment Programs
Recovery is a journey, not just a destination
Recovery from alcohol and substance abuse and addiction behaviors is a process of change and transition. Goals of this process can range from complete abstinence to reducing the negative consequences of addiction in order to find order and balance. Our integrative addiction programs are designed to identify and work within the stages of change from addiction to recovery and maintenance and every stage in between.
Understanding the why and how of your unique path to addiction may be of importance, but understanding alone will not keep you sober in the real world unless you learn coping skills, real world solutions and practice new ways of being in the world without the substance and behaviors which brought you here.
Research shows that the longer amount of time spent in recovery programs, the greater chance for long term success in recovery. Therapy outcomes are generally more effective if they take place for 12 weeks or more.
We’ve designed IAR programs in recognition of the research. Each IAR program takes place over a 12 week period, with the potential for one program to flow organically into the next until the 12-18 month maximum is achieved. While some clients may choose and only require one of our programs, others will choose to remain in all four programs to facilitate long term treatment and support.
While each client patient’s program is customized according to their care needs, every program includes a combination of group therapy, individualized counseling, as well as multi-modal therapies and supplements. Your initial consultation is our opportunity to work with you in assessing which treatment program is best suited for your stage of change and growth, or if it’s best for you to begin with counseling services as a prelude to one of our programs, or as a stand alone service.
The best treatment program for you is the one we co-create with you. Your recovery is a journey, not just a destination. Make the call today to let your new journey begin.

IAR Support Groups
Unlike therapy groups which are more focused, structured and led by a counselor, support groups are process groups for those who are experiencing a similar condition and in need of peer support, wisdom and understanding in a small group setting. All IAR Support Groups are facilitated by a Mental Health or Addiction Counselor, and led collectively by the group. Every session has a theme or topic for consideration.
Compassion Fatigue Support Group
While our group therapy sessions are 'closed groups' available only to IAR clients, our Compassion Fatigue support groups are 'open groups' which means they are open to the public, but are specific to those who fall into the category of first responders, those working in human or animal care professionally, advocacy or social justice settings or care takers in personal lives who are suffering from compassion fatigue.
Monthly Addiction & Recovery Support Groups
Support groups are different from group therapy. All IAR Addiction & Recovery Support Groups are 'closed groups' available only to current and previous IAR clients.
